Jian will be in Vancouver this coming Friday, Oct 12th, for a book signing @ CBC Vancouver. The signing and M&G will take place at 3:00 PM in the CBC Vancouver plaza. Copies of 1982 will be available at the CBC Shop on-site, at 700 Hamilton St. Please stop in to say hello. It’s always nice to be back in Vancity!

Just finished ’1982′ — LOVED IT. I’m a wee bit older but loved all the reminiscences of that time and high school. I wish there were some high school pictures, at least, Jian and some of the “cast” would have been so great. Again, loved it!!!
Friends and I would like to see (hear) you in Vancouver in Nov. Anything other than the Frederic Wood event in the works? We can’t make it way out to UBC in time.
Thus far, this is the only Vancouver date left for 2012. I’m sure Jian will return in the New Year.
